The Round Valley Indian Tribes Domestic Violence Justice Program is a new resource for tribal members. The Domestic Violence Justice Program is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5 p.m. The mission of the program is to promote the safety, welfare and education, of the tribal community and, provide paralegal services to victims of domestic violence and elder abuse. The Civil Legal Aid, Domestic Violence Justice Program is staffed by a Civil Legal Aid Advocate, Jessica Goodrow and Paralegal, Frank Pacino, The staff reports to the Chief Judge, Joseph Wiseman
The Domestic Violence Justice Program provides assistance completing Domestic Violence (DV), Elder or Dependent Adult Abuse Prevention (EA), and Civil Harassment (CH) petitions. There is no Tribal Court filing fee for (DV) and (EA) petitions. The filing fee for (CH) petitions is $50.00 (fifty dollars).
